We want to mark 17th of May with this lovely picture of the Bodd children from Trondheim. Here they are lined up and ready for this great celebration! In front you have Judith, then Arne, Sonja and at the back, Leon.

The father Josef Bodd came to Norway i 1903 and started working with commerce. Later on he opened a store in Kristiansund. The mother, Sarah Kahn, was born in Trondheim in 1901, the year after her mother Rosa Kahn, came to Trondhiem. Josef and Sarah got married in 1922 and moved from Kristiansund to Trondheim in 1924.

This picture is not in our own archive, but we have borrowed it from the archives at Norsk Folkemuseum in Oslo. The picture is taken at Tyholt in Trondheim, 17th of May 1935.
