New of the year is that the Jewish Museum Trondheim offers city walks in Jewish footprints in Trondheim.

Every Wednesday and Sunday for most weeks this summer, museum staff will take visitors on a tour of downtown Trondheim to find memories and traces of Jewish life in the city. The route goes from the museum down through the city to Nerbyen, where we wander the Brattørveita, Krambugata and roam, and hear about how the city's first Jewish shops were established, and the environment they created in this old town in Trondheim.

The first Jewish immigrants here helped transform and transform the city into a vibrant trading center. Many farmers who took the boat across the fjord to shop for clothes and other people sought out these shops which were scattered around areas in Nerbyen and along Innherredsveien. Today, only a few memorials in the form of stumbling blocks show that Jews lived in these streets.
