The first Jewish people and families settled in Trondheim at the end of the 19th century. The small trade business became common among the Norwegian-Jewish population and at most there were over thirty Jewish-owned shops in Trondheim. Today, there are few visible remnants of the flourishing trading business that originated in the Jewish population, but through dissemination and images, much can be told about this part of Trondheim's history. Join a walk in so called Nerbyen and get an insight into, this story.
