Events Laying of stolpersteine 2019 17. June 2019 In June, Jewish Museum Trondheim is arranging the laying of stolpersteine in Trondheim, Berlevåg and Hammerfest.Stolpersteine is part of an art project which has taken place in Europe for over 20 years. Over 60,000 of them have been laid to date. Stolpersteine are pavement stones measuring 10x10cm, covered with a brass plate. They are laid in memory of people who were victims of the Holocaust. The purpose of the stolpersteine is not that we should trip over them, but that we should trip over the history and be reminded that the Holocaust also affected people in our local community – where we live, work, go to school or move around every day.17th June at 16:00 – a stolperstein will be laid for Phillip Philipsohn in Vilhelm Storms gate 3 in Trondheim19th June at 16:00 - a stolperstein will be laid for Phillip Philipsohn in Samfunnsgate 2b in Berlevåg20th June at 13:00 - a stolperstein will be laid for Isak Meyer Goldmann in Kirkegate 22/24 in Hammerfest
