City tour of the Jewish quarter of Trondheim, Nerbyen

The museum has developed a completely new city tour, focused on the history of what might have been Norway's only Jewish quarter: "Nerbyen" in Trondheim. Every Sunday, you can join one of our experienced guides on a tour through the Jewish quarter, and learn how and why this district became so important to the Jews of Trondheim. Once upon a time, many Jewish families lived here, and also ran a number of clothing shops in this area. Why here, exactly? What happened to the Jewish quarter during the Holocaust? And what's left today?

You can learn about this and much more in our "Nerbyvandring", City tour of the Jewish quarter, every Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30. The tour starts at Fosenkaia, by the statue of Carl Adolf Dahl.

The tour is in Norwegian. Tickets can be found by clicking on this link.
